Building Application

1.    House Plan (Specifications drawing), 2x copies

For Commercial Buildings

1. Commercial building plan (specification drawing), 2 copies
2. Location plan map (situation drawing), 2 copies
3. Construction plans and calculations (iron/metal drawings and calculations), 2 copies
4. Notary Certificate, Ministerial Decree, 1 copy
5. Personal Identification 1 copy
6. Fill out a DOW form
7. Pay Awg.200.= Florins (two hundred florins)

NOTE!

1. When the petition is delivered, you have to pay 200 florins (two hundred florins)
2. When you are given the permit, you must pay the difference.
3. Cashier's hours: 
 

Monday to Friday
7:45 am - 11:30 am 
1:15pm - 3:30pm
 

All maps must be folded in A4 format.
 

Procedure

After submitting the request, you will receive a receipt (proof of submission) with a construction application number.
This petition goes to the Welstandcommissie ( welfare committee ), after which this petition will follow a procedure within DOW.

What DOW will check first, to continue with the construction is: 

• Building Line
• Foundation
• Ring Beam
• Construction of more floors.

Buildind Line:

When marking the land has been done, the white card needs to be delivered at the counter at DOW to do the control of the markings.

Foundation:

After receiving approval, foundation can then be digged and the iron can be placed. When all iron is put in the foundation DOW must be called to do a control if the iron has been put correctly.

Ring Beam: 

When the construction reaches the ringbeam, DOW must be called to control the iron in the ringbeam and if all iron is well set on the walls. If the iron is set with formalettes, before DOW does the control, there must be a good a sturdy ladder to climb up on, to control the job done.

Construction of more floors:

If the construction consists of more floors, DOW must be called to do a control the iron of the following floor(s) when these are all set and put in place. Afterwards DOW must be called again, to control the iron in the ringbeam(s) for the additional floor(s) when these are also done.

When calling DOW

The number to call is 528 4768, the Overview Department.

Make sure that you always have the construction application number at hand, also the work has to be finalized before calling DOW.

If the called is placed during the morning, you can call back in the afternoon, of the following day to get the results of the control.
