New Regulation on LOB Requests

In the interest of a careful, uniform, and transparent handling of requests based on the National Ordinance on Public Access to Government Information (LOB), the following information is brought to your attention.

All LOB requests must henceforth be submitted exclusively in digital form via the BID website www.bid.aw, in accordance with the established procedure as set out in the Regulation on LOB Requests (AB 2025 no. 43). Applicants are explicitly requested to pay close and careful attention to this requirement.

A LOB request that is not submitted digitally and not in accordance with this procedure will not be substantively processed by DOW.
 

This means that submission of LOB requests to the minister through the intervention of DOW is no longer possible. Only digital submissions made in accordance with the prescribed procedure will be considered valid
